On the 23rd of February 2009, Pastor Jim Lewis flew into Cape Town Africa to be with Pastors Clive and Glenda McMinn.  A tremendous time was had during the second Global Outreach (GO) Conference Africa.  The Conference began Thursday night with a dinner, then Friday night, continuing throughout Saturday and Sunday evening.  The Theme of the conference was "Walking by Faith" in which God brought forth a consistency throughout the preaching on living to honor and please God!

Pastors Clive and Glenda are very excited.  We've seen evidence of growth in the conference from 2008 - 2009.  In one year attendance grew from approximately 50 to 250 attendees.  This conference involved 10 other Pastors from South Africa that we are happy to include in our GO Vision for Africa.  Pastors Clive and Glenda coordinate the GO Vision for Africa.  Hillary and Wilma who Pastor in the city of Delft; Pastor Lintor who is in the city of Crefontaine;  Pastor Zuko, in the city of Soweto; in the African country of Botswana we have Pastor Jasper; Pastor Clive's friend Brother Steve from a ministry in London was also there.

A wonderful time was had with all the Pastors.  The conference had representatives from Africa, America and England.

While in Delft, Pastor Jim preached Sunday, the morning of March 1st for Pastor Clive.  A Lady came and gave her life to the Lord that morning.  Tuesday night, he spoke for Pastor Hillary at his church, also in Delft, having a marvelous time in the Lord with the congregation.

Thursday, Pastor Jim boarded a flight to Johannesburg.  While there, preached a three meeting revival Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday morning for Pastor Zuko in Soweto.  Soweto is the largest black township in South Africa.  Soweto is where Nelson Mandela lived and where Bishop Desmond Tutu had his church.  Soweto happens to have the only street in the world where you have two Nobel Prize winners residing.

On Saturday, Pastors Zuko and Jim visited a large shopping precinct and did an outreach, passing out fliers, witnessed and street-preached.

On Sunday evening Pastor Jim preached a message on bible prophecy titled signs of the end times in Pretoria where two responded for salvation.

The Trip to South Africa was very fruitful, seeing people coming to Christ during the conference and leaders inspired with a greater vision to serve the cause of Christ, living with honor serving to please God.

Please continue to pray for Pastors in South Africa that are linking their hearts and churches with this vision of Global Outreach.  The next GO will be held in February of 2010.
